Filter Types
Many filtering options are available in Unaric Segment to help you include or exclude data. Below is a categorized directory of all available filter types.
Try using the correct filter type for each situation. For example, instead of selecting multiple fields and use Equals filter type to match multiple values, use an In filter type to select only one field and separate the values using a comma as a separator. Use Equals filters instead of Contains if you can, as Contains leads to slower performance.
Text and value matching
These filters are used to match exact values, partial text strings, or check for missing data.
Numeric and range comparison
These filters are used to evaluate quantitative data and numerical thresholds.
Date & time
These filters evaluate timeframes using fixed calendar periods or rolling relative windows.
List & subquery matching
These filters allow you to compare your data against lists of multiple values or cross-reference records against other Data Extensions.
