case analysis provides essential insight into how your team interacts with individual cases the main goal is seeing who and how often has have been engaging with each case prerequisites before creating the final report, you must establish the necessary connection between the usage tracking data and the specific case records create a custom report type that connects your primary object with the contextual object you want to analyse for case analysis, select the help interactions object (where all usage data sits) as the primary object, and connect it with the case object setup to analyse case engagement, you integrate a chart component onto the standard case record page create a new report using the usage data captured by the tracker on the cases detail page , create a new tab name this new tab case analysis drop the report chart component onto the case analysis tab and configure it as required you must explicitly instruct it to filter by the related record’s id (e g , filter by current record id ) this ensures the chart dynamically displays usage data (which relies on the context id or parent record id field in the report filter) specific only to the case record currently being viewed
