Email Sync
enable email sync to keep events synchronized between the crm and the outlook as part of this configuration, you can specify how emails will be synchronized enable email sync open an email or calendar event and open the unaric sidebar connector click the menu icon and select auto sync click on other tools > automatic sync from the connector sidebar the automatic sync page will open in a new tab in the connections tab, click on the mail tab under mail server details , choose a provider from the dropdown list and click connect you will either be asked to manually enter the provider details or be re directed to their page to complete the connection by providing the required permissions a connected connected sign will let you know if successfully connected the sync emails now button will be displayed if you wish to immediately start the sync process some crm systems, such as salesforce, require providing a custom url if so, select the custom url checkbox (if shown) and enter your custom url if you are unsure, leave it blank and continue automatic calendar sync on the automatic sync page, navigate to connections > calendar tab check enable automatic calendar sync to automate synchronization sync settings once email synchronization has been enabled, you can adjust synchronization to your preference you will find settings in the automatic sync page, at the sync settings > mail tab setting description options incoming / outgoing emails defines which types of emails will be synchronized sync both incoming and outgoing emails sync incoming emails only sync outgoing emails only internal emails controls synchronization of emails exchanged between internal domains sync do not sync (default) other internal domains enter each domain on a separate line (without @ ) related emails determines whether related emails are synced sync all related \ sync marked threads only \ do not sync global settings apply to all users, but sync profiles can be assigned individually as such, after saving settings, each user need to access automatic sync from their outlook and setup their credentials sync rules rules let you define conditions (e g , sender, subject, cc) that determine whether an email is synced or ignored to create a rule on the automatic sync page, navigate to sync settings > mail click the rules button click + add rule complete the rule details (see rule components table below) click save settings to finish rule components component description values field the email field used for the condition from, to, cc, subject condition the logic applied to the field contains, not contains, equals, not equals value the keyword or text to match against e g companyname , eventname action defines what happens if the rule matches sync, do not sync example rule field condition value action from contains eventname sync cc not contains companyname sync
