Synchronized Data Extensions

Synchronized Data Extensions are tables that synchronize data from your Salesforce CRM into SFMC. In Unaric Segment, you can use Synchronized Data Extensions as read-only available data sources to build your Selections.

Enable Synchronized Data Extensions

You can find your Synchronized Data Extensions by clicking the funnel icon in the Available Data Extensions section to see if the Synchronized Data Extensions folder is listed.

If Synchronized Data Extensions are not visible in your account, you can request the Unaric Segment support team to add them by providing the folder's unique FolderId.

Find FolderId

Go to Email Studio > Email.

Select the Subscribers tab and Data Extensions.

Open the Developer Console (in Chrome, right click and select Inspect).

Make sure the folder containing the Synchronized Data Extensions is visible on the left pane; otherwise, expand the required sections to see it.

On the top right, click the Select Element icon.

Select the Salesforce Data Extensions folder.

In the element selected in the Console, you'll see an element inside a tag, where there's a categoryId element (see the screenshot below). In this case, the FolderId is the encircled element: 308639.

Provide this Folderid to the Unaric Segment Support team with your organization name and business unit number.
