Enable Additional Business Units
If you already have Unaric Segment enabled in your organization, you can expand access to additional Business Units.
You must have a commercial agreement in place for the additional Business Units before proceeding.
1. Grant access to the DESelect Segment package
- Navigate to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages.
- Select DESelect Segment and navigate to the Access tab.
- Enable DESelect Segment in the new business units for the users that need to have access, or click License all current and future users to give all users in that business unit access.
2. Grant access to the DESelect Automations package
The DESelect Automations package handles necessary backend operations and must be enabled as well.
- Navigate to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages.
- Select DESelect Automation and navigate to the Access tab.
- Enable the package in the current Business Unit.
3. Complete activation
In each new Business Unit, navigate to AppExchange > Unaric Segment to trigger the initial access attempt. You will receive a message indicating the Business Unit is not yet active on the servers. Submit a request to Support to activate the Business Unit. Include your MID and indicate if you want to add Synchronized Data Extensions.
