Email Notifications
Specify error notifications email address
This feature is available in Unaric Segment Enable, Plus and Advanced.
You need to be an administrator to apply this configuration
Set up the email addresses or shared mailboxes where you want to receive notifications of:
- Error emails of Scheduled Selections fail
- Warning emails of Scheduled Selections returning 0 records
This configuration is useful for scenarios where the scheduled Selection creator is out of office or you want a specific team to receive error notifications (e.g. the marketing team of a retail organisation working together on several campaigns).
If no setting is provided, only the creator of the Selection will receive the notifications.
How it works
There is no limitation on the number of email addresses you can add. You can add multiple emails at the same time by separating them with a comma (example: [email protected], [email protected]). These added users will be notified by email in bcc
In order to remove an email address from the list, you simply need to click on the cross icon on the tag, and the pop-up below will appear, click Remove.
Setup
- Navigate to Admin Panel > Settings > Notification Settings.
- Enter the email addresses where you would like to receive the error notifications
- Click Add. The email addresses will appear under that box
Email Integration for Error Notifications in Slack and Microsoft Teams
Both Microsoft Teams and Slack offer a feature that generates an email address for each channel. This allows you to send error notifications directly to a specific channel (Teams or Slack), ensuring that your team is promptly alerted to any errors encountered in Unaric Segment.
- Launch the Slack application.
- Create the channel where you want to receive error notifications and add the necessary stakeholders.
- Once created, click the Send emails to channel button. Slack will generate a unique email address
- Copy this email address.
- In Unaric Segment, navigate to Admin Panel > Settings > Notifications.
- Paste the created email address.
- Click Add to finish.
