Cancellations

if you are using asperato package version 2 16 or earlier, you must cancel pending payments through your payment gateway's interface refer to your payment gateway's documentation for instructions on how to cancel a payment you can cancel pending payments directly within salesforce to enable this feature, your salesforce administrator or system integrator (si) must add the cancel payment quick action button to the asperato payments tab layout successful cancellation if the payment gateway has not yet processed the payment (e g , it is still "pending"), the cancellation request will likely be successful upon successful cancellation, the payment status updates to "cancelled," and the payment status updates to "this payment was cancelled at your request " unsuccessful cancellation if the payment gateway has already processed the payment (e g , it is "submitted" or further along in the process), the cancellation request may fail in this scenario, you may need to initiate a refund through your payment gateway after the payment is completed if the cancellation fails, the payment status may not be updated the payment status may be updated to indicate that the "payment cannot be cancelled " check with your payment gateway for the current status of the payment cancel a payment navigate to the payment record you wish to cancel click the cancel payment button a confirmation screen will appear confirm the cancellation upon confirmation, the payment cancellation request will be sent to your payment gateway the payment record's status will update to cancelled if the gateway confirms the cancellation
