Apple Pay & Google Pay
asperato supports collecting payments via apple pay and google pay both apple pay and google pay utilize card payment rails if a customer has an active card in their digital wallet, apple pay or google pay will appear as payment options alongside traditional card payments on the payment page if a customer does not have an active card in their wallet, these options will not be displayed general setup 1\ psp connection requirements currently, apple pay and google pay are supported with these psp connections stripe connect payonomy gateway other psps may be available in the future or upon request contact asperato support at support\@asperato com for assistance 2\ create psp connection create a psp connection under your merchant group for "ecom" for gbp 3\ set payment route option on the authorisation or payment record(s), ensure that card is selected in the payment route options field apple pay setup contact your psp to enable apple pay contact asperato support to enable apple pay for each merchant group where you want to offer it domain verification (for iframes) inform asperato of your domain url(s) asperato will register your domain with apple and provide verification files host these files on your server for verification complete these steps at least 2 3 days before going live to allow sufficient propagation time upload the verification files as soon as possible after they are generated by asperato this should ideally be done 24 hours, and preferably 2 3 days, before testing or live payments are processed on the iframe paypage ssl certificates must be renewed at least two weeks before expiration asperato will notify you of the expiration date, but it is your responsibility to ensure they are kept up to date failure to do so will interrupt your apple pay service google pay setup domain verification is not required for google pay when using an iframe enable with psp contact your psp to enable google pay enable with asperato contact asperato support for configuration per merchant group
