Members
Members are individuals who have access to the Org Chart application. For example, work colleagues, clients, or other stakeholders you want to share your org charts with. Org chart owners and admins can invite others to join their Org chart. Users are added by clicking the Share button, typing in the new user's email, and selecting their role.
Admin: Make any changes to the org chart, including editing employee information, adding or removing employees, and creating and deleting org charts. They also can manage user permissions and access levels for other admins, editors, and viewers.
Only admins can invite new members as admins.
Editor: Make editions such as editing employee information, adding new employees, and sharing org charts by sending invitation emails and creating shareable links (but they cannot delete them). Editors cannot delete org charts.
Viewer: Has read access to the org chart and can only duplicate it.
You can add org charts employees as Org Chart members so they can view and edit the org chart they are part of. For users outside the company that are not meant to integrate the org chart, you can send them an invite by email.
Members are org chart-specific.
Invitations expire after 24 hours. If invitations aren't accepted within this time, you'll need to send new ones.
- Go to Settings > Members.
Use the search box under Invite colleagues to search among employees within the org chart.
- Select if you want to add them as Admin, Editor or Viewer and click Invite.
- Invited colleagues will receive an email to their assigned email address asking them to accept the invitation and register on the platform.
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Under Invite new user, enter the email address of the new user.
- Select if you want to add them as Admin, Editor or Viewer and click Invite.
- Invited users will receive an email asking them to accept the invitation and register on the platform.
Users new to Org Chart will have to register.
