use mass clone to clone various equipment objects simultaneously you can also mass clone their assignments cloning of equipment records does not use the standard sfdc clone system your system admin must set up a field set on equipment for clone fields and required fields cloning can optionally do the assignment step after cloning the clone page will prompt the user to select if an assignment is also done after the clone is created to mass clone equipment on the equipment tab, select the equipment you want to mass clone by checking the boxes next to them, click the mass clone button on the action menu on the clone equipment screen, you can change the description and equipment tag of the clone equipment also, if you want to preserve the assignment for the cloned equipment, check clone equipment with assignment click the clone button to finish
