You can track time spent on a page using the **Position Detector.**

## How it works

The **Help Interaction** object has two fields (**Departure Date **and** Time at Context (in seconds)**) which record how long a user stays at a specific context or page. Logging occurs in sync with context interaction tracking (e.g. on URL changes).

## Setup

- The **Navigation Checking Interval** must be set to a value other than blank or zero.
- This feature only applies when using the **Position Detector** in *Help Cue* mode with the Navigation Checking Interval enabled.
