Opportunity Analysis provides visibility into user engagement on individual Opportunity records. The key benefit of this use case is the ability to easily see who and how often people have been engaging with each opportunity over time.

## Prerequisites

To show who has viewed an **Opportunity** record, the raw usage data must be linked to the specific record.

1. Create a** Custom Report Type **that connects your primary object with the contextual object you want to analyse.
2. For Opportunity Analysis, select the** Help Interactions** object as the primary object, and connect it with the **Opportunity **object.

## Setup

To deploy **Opportunity Analysis**, you will integrate a chart component onto the standard Opportunity page layout, allowing users to view engagement metrics in context.

Follow these steps to configure Opportunity Analysis:

1. Create a new** Report** using the appropriate data captured by the Usage Tracker.
2. Navigate to the **Opportunity Detail** page and create a new tab. Name the tab **Opportunity Analysis**.
3. Drop the** Report Chart **component onto the **Opportunity Analysis** tab.
4. Configure the Report Chart Component according to your specific analysis requirements. You must filter the **Report Chart** component by the related record’s ID (e.g., using the **Filter **by *Current Record ID* setting). The underlying report should include a filter that utilizes a field holding the related record ID, such as** Context ID** or **Parent Record ID**, to ensure the chart displays contextual data specific to that **Opportunity**.
