Case Analysis provides essential insight into how your team interacts with individual cases. The main goal is seeing **who** and **how often** has have been engaging with **each Case**.

## Prerequisites

Before creating the final report, you must establish the necessary connection between the usage tracking data and the specific Case records.

- Create a **Custom Report Type **that connects your primary object with the contextual object you want to analyse.
- For Case Analysis, select the** Help Interactions** object (where all usage data sits) as the primary object, and connect it with the **Case **object.

## Setup

To analyse Case engagement, you integrate a chart component onto the standard Case record page.

1. **Create a new Report** using the usage data captured by the Tracker.
2. On the **Cases Detail Page**, create a new tab.
3. Name this new tab **Case Analysis**.
4. Drop the** Report Chart** component onto the **Case Analysis** tab and configure it as required. You must explicitly instruct it to filter by the related record’s ID (e.g., *Filter by Current Record ID*). This ensures the chart dynamically displays usage data (which relies on the **Context ID **or** Parent Record ID** field in the report filter) specific only to the **Case** record currently being viewed.
