2. Click the **Connect** button. The login screen for your CRM will open.
3. Enter your CRM account credentials (username and password).
 - For Salesforce, you will be asked to provide the login URL you use for your org. E.g. [https://login.salesforce.com/.](https://login.salesforce.com/?locale=mx)

If you see an OAuth2 authentication error with the message *OAUTH\_APPROVAL\_ERROR\_GENERIC* while trying to log in to your Salesforce org, you need to install our application in your Salesforce environment to grant login access. For more information, see [Salesforce OAuth2 Error](docId\:tvw_t-QcfLVMzIrMsF0ZQ)

## 3. Installation testing

To test that the installation has been successful, open an email in Outlook. Sender details will display if they are already a contact/lead in your CRM or if there is an open Opportunity/Case and other related objects for this sender, they will also be displayed. Open the Contact/Leads forms to see more details directly from your mailbox.

### Need admin approval?

If you see the *Need admin approval* message when trying to install Unaric Sidebar, it means app installation is blocked within Outlook/Outlook 365. An administrator must change installation permissions for users:

1. Sign in to your Office 365 administrator account.
2. Click **Settings** > **Org Settings.**
3. In the **User consent to apps** section, ensure the checkbox is ticked.
4. Click **Save Changes. **

This will prompt users and confirm that they want to grant permissions across all Microsoft Add-Ins. If that level of access is not desired, a workflow can be set up to allow administrators to approve requests using the **admin consent workflow**. For information on configuring that workflow, see Microsoft's help page [Configure the admin consent workflow - Microsoft Entra.](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/configure-admin-consent-workflow)

:::hint{type="info"}
Further information on managing consent within Outlook is available at [Manage consent to applications and evaluate consent requests - Microsoft Entra](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/manage-consent-requests)
