Look up **Contacts** and **Leads** records stored in your CRM and insert their email addresses into the **To**, **CC**, or **BCC** fields. You can add multiple recipients from the dialog.

## Draft email using Einstein AI

Provide instructions to Einstein AI and it will create an email draft you can preview refine.

## Draft email using template

If your CRM supports email templates, you can search for and insert them into your new message window. Click the **Draft email using template** button and search among the mail template in your CRM. You will be returned to the compose new email screen, where you can review the message before sending it.

Templates are only supported in Salesforce Lightning, not Classic.
:::

:::hint{type="warning"}
Your CRM needs API access to templates for this feature to work.

## Insert email tracker

Email trackers use pixel-tracking (a hidden image link) to notify you via email whenever a recipient opens your message.

### How it works

To track emails, Unaric Sidebar inserts a hidden pixel containing a URL (this is known as *pixel-tracking*). When the email is opened, the URL in the pixel is accessed, and you will be notified by email that your email has been viewed, alongside the hostname and country location of whoever opened it.

This notification run every time that email is viewed—this means also when you view it, for example, in your **Sent** folder. However, once a notification has been received, you can unsubscribe from future requests.

:::hint{type="warning"}
No tracker is foolproof. Due to modern email providers strict privacy controls, tracking pixels might not work with all the email providers you send mail to.

For a detailed overview of how pixel-tracking works, see [Spy Pixel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spy_pixel).

### Insert email tracker

1. In Outlook, create a new email.
2. Compose the email and add an email subject.
3. Open Unaric Sidebar and click the **Insert Email Tracker **button. Insert tracker just before sending the email.

## People involved

Under **People Involved**, Unaric Sidebar will show you people matching in your CRM with the recipient and cc email addresses in the email.

- **If a match is found:** The person's CRM profile will be displayed automatically.
- **If no match is found:** Click the **+ icon** next to their email address to add them as **Contact **record in your CRM. A new contact form with the email address prefilled will open.
