This feature is available in **Unaric Segment Plus **and **Advanced**.

Behavioral Filter Sets are filter collections meant to pick up costumer interaction from your previous communications. For example, whether they opened an email, what specific link was clicked, did a communication bounce, etc.

## How it works

SFMC automatically stores the last six months of customer interactions in Data Views. Normally, to filter your audience based on this behavior, you would need a technical understanding of how these specific Data Views are structured and related to each other.

Instead of manually building complex data relationships, you can drag and drop Behavioral Filter Sets to target customers based on their past engagement.

Behavioral Filters are located at the **Filter Sets **under **Behavioral Filters.**

## Use behavioral filters

Once the Behavioral Filters are expanded, select the filter of your choice and drag it to the **Filters** section. Follow the steps below to customize this filter.

### 1. Set the required relationship between the DE and Data View

After moving the desired behavioral Filter Sets in the Filters section, a modal wizard will show up to set up the relation between the Selected Data Extensions and the Data View of the filter to be created.

1. Select which available Source Data Extension you would like to relate to the Data View.
2. Select the field from this Data Extension to relate to either the** Subscriber Key** or **SubscriberId**.
3. Click on **Continue.**

4. The new filter will now appear on the **Filters** section of the Selection.

### 2. Set the number of days

Set the required number of days by clicking on the **green Filter icon. **A filter modal pops up allowing you to:

1. Change the number of days from 1 to whatever number is needed.
2. Optionally, change the time unit. Data Views only contain data up to 6 months ago.
3. Click on **SAVE **to finish. You can drag as many Behavioral Filters as needed to create more targeted segmentations and implement (under) saturation control.
