Set up Solutions to automate the packaging, processing, and distribution of your reports and dashboards. 

## Key features

- **Report bursting management:** You can use a **burst report** to take a single data set and split it into multiple filtered versions, sending each recipient only the data relevant to them.
- **Salesforce integration:** Solutions can be triggered with a Salesforce button that sends a specific record ID (like an Account or Quote ID) to the solution and instantly generates a  filtered report or document. Fore more information, see [Salesforce Buttons](docId\:xGLZS371XQ4PApbpU1Dbx).
- **AI integration:** Attach [agents](docId\:KGenI9stM-9vD8AiLQFvc) to a solution to automatically analyse report trends or compare data before the results are sent out.
- **Document generation:** Solutions can merge data from various reports into branded templates to create files like quotes or account summaries.

## How it works

The Solution creation process follows a wizard-driven workflow:

**Select items**

[Items](docId\:KuVYf57cAi6zon5h5mwIp) are the building blocks of your solution. They represent the components you can include, such as standard Salesforce reports, custom reports from external sources (like Google Analytics), or AI agents.

**Choose output & delivery**

You define the file format (PDF, Excel, Word, or HTML) and how it should be sent. Delivery options include **email**, saving to **cloud storage** (Dropbox or Google Cloud), or sending to **DocuSign** for signatures.

**Set a schedule**

You determine when the solution runs, such as daily, on specific weekdays, monthly, or at custom intervals (e.g., every two weeks). You can also automate them using a [Salesforce Outbound Message](docId\:gjePHB20G8QOzRBQH4OAG).

**Configure options**

You can set specific rules, such as *don't send if the report is empty* to avoid cluttering inboxes. Further, you can use [Lists](docId\:GKyroep0qePUkpv_WgFnA) to manage who you are sending solutions to.

**Run the Solution**

Once saved, the solution will automatically run according to the frequency you defined. Moreover, you can also manually trigger the Solution or run them from your own application using Unaric Report's API (see [Solutions API](docId\:FWfCV9E3EK5APPnXiEeOo)). ## Stop Solution

To stop a Solution, go to the** Solutions** tab, and do one of the following:

- Click the **Deactivate **button.
- Click the **Delete** button.

## Export Solutions

Downloads a spreadsheet of all Solution destinations. You can use this export to view where your solutions are being sent, whether that be an email, an FTP server, a Google Drive, etc.

## Split currency values

You can split the currency type and the currency value into separate columns in XLSX and CSV delivery files. In this way, the currency value is treated as a number field in Excel rather than a plain text field. 

1. Navigate to** Configure > Settings**.
2. Check the **Split Currency Values **option to activate it.
3. Click **Save **to finish.
