Solutions can be run automatically using [Salesforce outbound messages](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.workflow_managing_outbound_messages.htm\&type=5). For example, you could set up a workflow with an Outbound Message that would have Unaric Reports send a salesperson a report every time an Opportunity reaches a specific stage.

## Setup

To set up an Outbound Message for a Solution:

In Salesforce, open Setup and navigate to **Process Automation > Workflow Actions >** **Outbound Messages. **Click the **New Outbound Message** button and  select the appropriate object.

Enter the values for outbound message based on how you would like it to work. In the **Endpoint URL** field, enter to the following URL, replacing SOLUTION\_ID with your Solution's ID:

## User permissions

When a Solution is run using a Salesforce outbound message, the Running User will be the Running User that is configured on the Solution, not the user that initiated the Salesforce outbound message by the action they took in Salesforce. This differs from a Solution that is run from a Salesforce button (see the Salesforce Button page for more detail) where the Solution is run as the user that clicks the button.

By default, users do not need access to the Solution in Unaric Reports in order to run it from a Salesforce outbound message. To restrict this, go to the Options page of the Solution and configure it to only be run by Admins, which are defined in Unaric Reports as any user with the **View All Data** permission on their Salesforce profile.
