## Create authorisation

1. Go to the **Unaric Payments Authorisations **tab.
2. Click the **New **button in the action bar.
3. Fill in the authorisation details. **Payment Route options **is a required field.
4. Click **Save**.

## Process authorisation internally

1. On the **Unaric Payments Authorisations **tab, select the authorisation.
2. Click the **Process authorisation** button in the action bar.
3. Fill in the payment information and click** Update authorisation**. After submitting the form, details of the authorisation will then show in the authorisation's page. Sensitive payment method information is tokenized by the PSP and isn't shown.

## Process authorisation externally

1. On the **Unaric Payments Authorisations **tab, select the authorisation.
2. On the authorisation details, copy the **eCommerce URL** under **Endpoints**.

3. This URL points to a webpage for the customer to enter their details to set up the authorisation. The URL can be distributed by any means necessary (email, IM, etc.) When the user has completed the form, the authorisation object will be populated.

## Payment using authorisation

You can make payments from the record page of inbound *In Force* and direct debit *Pending* authorisations.

1. On the **Unaric Payments Authorisations **tab, select the authorisation.
2. Click the **Payment Using Authorisation** button.
3. Specify the amount. Click **Process Payment** to finish.
