Pre-Commit Order

Use Pre-Commit Order to identify potential conflicts before committing an equipment order. This feature checks for availability issues related to dates, equipment, and equipment types.

This action is meant for pre-committing an order and doesn't guarantee successful order placement. Other factors might still prevent order completion.

To pre-commit an order:

  1. On the Equipment Order tab, select the equipment order.
  2. Click the Pre-Commit Order button on the action bar.
  3. Set the pre-commit start and end dates for the order and click the Check lines button to check if there are date conflicts.
  4. A list of the equipment and their availability will be displayed. The system will categorize equipment as either:
    • OK: Items that are available for the selected dates.
    • NOT OK: Items that have conflicts and cannot be committed with the current dates. Unavailable equipment will be presented alongside their next available date.
  5. Once you find suitable dates with no conflicts, click the Save button to save the order with the updated dates.
