ELTON offers different mobile components available in the Salesforce mobile application. Salesforce Administrators place the components where required and can customize virtually all aspects of components for their users.

ELTON mobile components are: - Equipment Scan - Equipment Convert Reservation - Equipment Order Fulfill

Add components

The components are app pages and can be added to various Lightning record pages, such as User, Contact, Account, and Opportunity. These pages must be activated and added to the Mobile Navigation.

Records displayed in the mobile components use the compact layout of the object.

  1. On Salesforce, go to Setup > Lightning App Builder.
  2. You will see a list of available lighting pages. Select the ELTON component app page you want to add.
  3. Click the View button to preview the app page.
  4. Click the Activation button to configure the app page.
    • On the Page Settings tab, you can choose a name and icon for the app page.
    • On the Lightning Experience tab, you can add the app page to Lightning Experience apps.
    • On the Mobile Navigation tab, you can add the app page to the mobile menu.
  5. Click Save to finish. To see the resulting pages you must clear the cache:
    1. From the mobile Menu tap the user's avatar at the top left corner.
    2. Tap Settings > Advanced > Clear Cached Data. Once the configuration is finished this step is not necessary in day to day use, only when changing the layout or other setup-related data
