Equipment Order Fulfill
Equipment Order Fulfill allows users to scan equipment and use it to fulfill an Equipment Order request line. The use case for Order Fulfill is when orders are entered as requests of an Equipment Type and fulfillment is done by selecting any equipment that matches the Equipment Type of the Request line.
Fulfill can only be used for Request Lines of Committed Equipment Orders.
The Equipment Order Fulfill Lightning app page consists of the ELTON Order Fulfill custom component. Administrators can add a Rich Text component above the Order Fulfil component to offer guidance to users.
The user is greeted with a page to enter or scan an Equipment Order number. When entering the order number only the last digits are required. For example, EO-00441 would be entered as 441. The user can use the Scan button to scan the displayed QR code on the Equipment Order page or a barcode from a Picking Slip.
Administrators may choose to add a Rich Text component above the Order Fulfil component to guide users.
Once the order gets loaded into the app, the Compact layout for the Equipment Order object displays an order summary. As you scroll down, Request Order lines are displayed. Tap any request line to start fulfilling that request.
The Equipment Order Line Compact Layout is used to display the Order line. When the user locates the equipment they wish to use to fulfill this line (Backpack in this case), they press the Scan button to scan the specific backpack they are linking to this request line. If the user does not scan equipment with a matching equipment type, they will receive an error message.
If the equipment matches the equipment type the line gets a checkmark icon and the EOL+EQ message. They can scroll up and down until all lines have been fulfilled.
You can partially fulfill and order and process the lines that are fulfilled and then reopen the order later to complete fulfillment.
When you have fulfilled all the request lines you scroll back to the top and tap the Process button. This will create reservations and convert them to loans for all lines.
Errors may be created during fulfillment if date conflicts exist for the order and the equipment selected.
