Equipment Map
The Equipment Map shows the current location of all equipment, determined by their most recent GPS scan recorded by the ELTON mobile app. This feature is helpful for providing a graphical overview of equipment distribution and for logistics purposes.
For filtering, you can toggle active equipment assignments, reservations, and loans. Moreover, you can click on each record to obtain summary information about it or click the hyperlink icon () to show the record. Summary information is retrieved from the fields in the compact layout. As such, you can modify the compact layout fields to change the summary information shown on the map.
You might need to add the Equipment Map tab to your users to grant them access to this feature. See Salesforce's documentation for show or hide tabs for users.
