Equipment Count

The Equipment Count feature allows you to record and track the actual number of equipment items on hand. Use this feature to audit and verify physical equipment inventories.
You can create new count records in two ways:
- Manually: Navigate to the Equipment Count related list and click the "New" button.
- Mobile App: Utilize the Scanner Mobile App.
Each count record captures the following information:
- Equipment: Reference the specific equipment item being counted.
- Condition: Select a condition from the Condition pick list, which you can tailor to the condition of the equipment (e.g., Good, Needs Repair, Missing).
- Optional Note: Add any relevant comments or observations about the equipment's condition.
- Using the Scanner Mobile App offers additional functionalities:
- Image Capture: Take pictures of the equipment directly linked to the count record in Salesforce.
- GPS Location: If available, the app records the device's GPS coordinates and displays them on a map within the record.
